MotoBackflip showcased at CES

Here’s one for all the flip lovers and Motorola loyalists. Motorola's Backflip will hit the markets soon, report approved by AT&T, which is also the official network provider for the new Moto device. What’s different is that the phone is a back flip, a feature you must have figured by the name itself. It will function on Google’s open source operating system Android and will also support application that run on MOTOBLUR.

The information of its release was previously leaked last year, almost to the company's disappointment as it wanted to keep it a surprise and announce it in a big way. Nevertheless, the features of the phone more than make up for it as. Apart from the eye catching horizontal flip, the phone has a QWERTY keyboard, Android 1.5 with MOTOBLUR user interface on 320-by-480 screen and 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi radio, Bluetooth with stereo support and 5.0 mega pixel camera. It also has the capability to record videos and you can store all that you want with microSDHC expansion slot.

It works on a 528MHZ processor which may sound a little slower to you as compared to other latest models from Motorola. Still, back flip by far remains its best feature as you can rotate and adjust the flip in whichever way and direction you want.

The phone was showcased at the recent Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas where it was greatly applauded. The manufacturers have still not announced the price but I doubt it would come in way of your possession of it.Know the latest deals on 3 store.

Lately another research has proved it to be connected with Alzheimer's disease but in a different way. You will be surprised to know that this very harbinger of malignant tumors can actually be a cure for the Alzheimer's. The research was conducted on mice that were genetically engineered to possess all the symptoms of the said disease. When exposed to an antenna giving out mobile phone signals for a very long period of time, these rodents were miraculously cured and their mental faculties were restored. The scientists say this is because the electromagnetic radiation breaks down the hazardous protein inside the brain that leads to the curing of the brain.

The power electro magnetic waves possess and their effects on the human health still stand unexplored. A major research needs to be conducted by biotechnologists on this as it may lead to certain breakthrough in the treatment of certain diseases that stand incurable till today.

Though the treatment through mobile phones sounds quixotic as the humans beings suffering from the disease needs to be exposed to mobile radiation for a very long period of time, the research atleast refutes the assertation that excessive mobile usage leads to onset or exacerbation of Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis.
